The standard UK size for number plates are 520mm by 111mm.

Legality

Please note that by law we include our company name, postcode and BSAU number on the plate. The font style for all our plates is Charles Wright which is the legal UK road font, compliant with the law. The DVLA confirm that three-dimensional characters are legal and compliant with road laws, this includes ‘4D’ number plates, as 4D is only an industry standard name, and they are still classed as three-dimensional.

In order to ensure road safety, your number plates should meet certain criteria. All our plates are made from a reflective material, and the front plate has black display characters on a white background, while the rear plate has black display characters on a yellow background. The plates will not have a background pattern, as this can distort readability.

Additionally, the plates will be marked to indicate the supplier, which can help with theft and sourcing queries, and will also be marked with a British Standard number, which is 'BS AU 145e' for plates fitted after 1 September 2021. It's important to note that the characters on the plates are not be removable or reflective.

If your number plates were fitted after 1 September 2021, they must also be a single shade of black.
